Abilis Partnership Program in Africa - Training Seminar for New Facilitators, Uganda 2006
Hosted by National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda, NUDIPU

In the first part of the year 2006 Abilis tied new Partnership work agreements with two Tanzanian Disabled Person's Organisations: Information Centre on Disability, ICD, Dar es Salaam and Shirikisho La Vyama Vya Watu Wenye Ulemavu Tanzania SHIVYAWATA, Tanzania Federation of Disabled People Organization - Mwanza. It had also been already agreed to begin partnership work with Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development, ECDD in the beginning of 2007. It was soon noticed that a lot of written messages can be saved when the new facilitators were invited to learn together in Uganda. Seminar was held in September 2006 with practical arrangements done by NUDIPU with its Abilis Partner Organisation experience since 2002. Most the training was done by NUDIPU staff and board.
